Happy New Year to all of you and all of my very best wishes for this new exciting decade! Last year was definitely a great  busy year. As Tokyo Black Star we released our first artist album, we went on tour and played live for the first time! I worked on great projects and I had amazing parties in great clubs all over the world from NYC, Tokyo, Japan, Asia and Europe. I want first of all to THANK all of you for your support and your great work! Now 2010 looks already promising with new exciting projects.

皆さん明けましておめでとうございます!  皆さんにとって音楽いっぱいな幸せな人生であるように心から祈っています! 新しいエキサイティングな10年に向けて頑張って行きましょう。去年は充実したとてもいい忙しい年でした。Tokyo Black Starとしてのファースト・アルバムを世界リリースして、日本とヨーロッパで初のライヴ・ツアーをこなして、NYC、東京、日本、アジアとヨーロッパの素晴らしいクラブでとてもいいパーティが出来て、いい仕事が出来て、協力とサポートをしてくれた皆さんにまずとても感謝してます! 今年も引き続きよろしくお願いします。

The past few weeks have been very exciting. Isao came to NYC and we did our 1st presentation of our “phonon” device outside Japan to a few audio professionals in NYC which ended up to be very learning. Our 1st presentation at the world’s no.1 mastering studio Sterling Sound was such a special experience. It was also great to meet with the Grammy Award winning audio engineer, sound editor Carlos “Storm” Martinez who has worked with Common, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild etc. We are so looking forward to the future of phonon.

ここ数週間はとても充実してます。海外では初めて、NYCのオーディオ関係の業界のトップの人達に向けて熊野さんと進めている装置phononの初のデモンストレーションをNYCで。数日間色々学んだとてもいい体験でした。特に初めて訪れた世界一のマスターリング・スタジオSterling Soundでのデモはとても効果的で感動しました。そして、Common, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild等のミキシングを手掛けているグラミー賞を受賞しているオーディオ・エンジニアー&サウンド・エディターCarlos “Storm” Martinezに会えてとても良かったです。今後のphononの展開が楽しみです。

We managed to go see the wicked Fela! show on Broadway! It is so well done. I am so glad Broadway has such a show. I highly recommend it! You will feel at The Shrine. There is talk about a movie about Fela soon.
合間を挟んで去年の秋からBroadwayで開催されているショーFela!を観に! とても良く出来てます。さすがです。Broadwayでこんなショーがあることがとても嬉しいです。とてもオススメします! 感動しました。Fela KutiのクラブThe Shrineに入る感じです。Felaについての映画の噂もあります。

Kiyonaga-san from SOPH.NET was in town too. It was great to visit the multi-talented Rostarr. From last year, I highly recommend this movie Rostarr is part of called “kill the ego”. It is such an original movie and a beautiful ode to NYC in painting!

I finally hooked up 2 pairs of our phonon device to our sound system at home. We can’t take them out now. The frequencies range is wider and the sound is covering so well the living room now. It sounds so great. And also there is this special vibe around it making it so pleasant!  Some great well-thought out inspiring albums/compilations of last year I listened to during the holidays.

家のリヴィング・ルームのサウンドシステムにやっと2ペアーのphonon装置を設置。音のレインジが広くなって、部屋全体をカヴァーしていて、音が良くなりました。もう外すことは出来ません。そして説明出来ないヴァイヴも感じられてとても気持いいです!! ここ最近去年リリースされた刺激的なアルバムとコンピレーションを紹介。

The crazy amazing “Psych Funk 101″ double-album compilation on the very consistent Stones Throw label featuring obscure unheard funky psychedelic tracks from 60s and 70s Nigeria, Iran, Turkey, Russia and South Korea!  I have been playing this non stop at home.

クオリティー高いStones Throwレーベルから60年代と70年代にレコーディングされた聴いたことの無いマニアックなNigeria, Iran, Turkey, Russiaと韓国産の劇ヤバなファンキーなサイケデリック音楽を監修された２枚組の特別企画! 家でずっとかけてます。

I listen to a lot of non dance music at home. In NYC I am influenced to listen to a lot of jazz-related music. I just discovered a few weeks ago this great re-issue of this very good and unique album “Upchurch” by the Chicago guitarist  Phil Upchurch on Cadet records. It is an absolutely mind-blowing album, probably his best album. A total instrumental album mixing jazz, rock and funk like I have never heard before, between Shuggie Otis and Jimi Hendrix!

家ではダンス・ミュージックではない音楽をよく聴いています。NYCにいるとジャズ系の音楽を聴きたくなります。数週間前にChicago出身のギターリストPhil UpChurchのベスト・アルバム「Upchurch」の再発を購入。素晴らしいアルバムです。いこれまで、Shuggie OtisとJimi Hendrixを合わせたように、聴いたことの無いJazz, rockとfunkをミックスしたインストのアルバムです!

The disco re-issue fever didn’t stop in 2009! Probably one of the best black music record store in the world Mr.Peabody Records from the  Southside of Chicago released their awesome complilation “The Real Sound Of Chicago” on bbe records. If you think you know about disco, highlighthing re-edited obscure dance floor treasures exclusively from the Chicago area from the mid 70s to early 80s, this compilation is a real MUST! This is not about a compilation for collectors with expensive rare records etc. These are killer underground jams from Chicago! Chicago is a great city with such a music history with a great soulful vibe. I love to go there.

2009年にはDisco Feverは止まりませんでした! Chicagoの南にある世界一のブラック・ミュージック系のアナログ専門店と言われているMr.Peabody Recordsは凄い内容のコンピレーション「The Real Sound of Chicago」　をbbeから何とリリース。Disco音楽の全てを知ってると思ってる方に、ここに収録されているMr.PeabodyのDJ2人によってリエディットされた70年代中判から80年代前半にChicago地方で録音されたとても誰も知らない宝物の音源ばっかりで、このコンピはマストです!　このコンピはコレクター達が注目している狭い業界向けにある高くて珍しい音源を集めたコンピではないです。とてもカッコいい誰も聴いたことのないChicagoのアンダグランドの素晴らしい音源です! Chicagoは音楽の歴史を持ったとてもソウルフルな街で大好きです。インスパイヤーされます!

bbe hit again with this very exquisite compilation of some the finest and underground disco works (focusing on Salsoul records) of the NYC legendary club music edit master/producer John Morales from the 70s and 80s (predominately with studio partner Sergio Munzibai) “The M&M mixes” selected from their more than 650 mixes! John’s work helped define the disco era and have inspired all of us so much! We have all danced to M&M’s mixes. They have mixed everybody. After a break in the 90s, John’s still continues to produce and remix to this day. He’s recently completed mixing recordings on the very good Ashford & Simpson ‘Hits, Remixes & Rarities’ package. It was great to meet with John last year through Dimitri from Paris.

同じくbbeから今度は70年代と80年代にDisco世代を生んだあの陰の伝説のエディット・マスタ−&プロデューサとしてNYCで大活躍していた(パートナーのSergio Munzibaiと組んで)John Moralesの650作以上のアーカイヴから監修されたアンダグランド・ディスコとSalsoul recordsの音源にフォーカスした劇ヤバ・コンピ「The M&M Mixes」はたまりません! I finally got to see the excellent movie “Wild Combination” by director Matt Wolf about another genius, the multi talented artist Arthur Russell,  may be one of the best songwriter in contemporary music based in NYC’s lower east side in the very creative 70s and 80s. This is a must see. I am reading Tim Lawrence book「Hold on to your dreams」now. There is a great forthcoming movie called “downtown calling” about the NYC downtown disco scene which looks great.

やっと休暇中に監督Matt Wolfがもう一人の天才、同じ時代にNYCのLower East Sideを拠点に活動していた現代の音楽シーンの中でも最も才能のあった作詞/作曲家/ミュージシャンのArthur Russellについての素晴らしい映画「Wild Combination」。絶対に観てもらいたいとても良く出来た興味深い映画です! 今Tim Lawrenceが書いた本「Hold on to your dreams」を読んでます。当時のNYCのダウンタウン・ディスコ・シーンについての映画「downtown calling」も面白そうです。

On a more modern electronic disco note, we can’t forget the excellent double-album compilation of Daniel Wang’s cult Balihu label the Rush Hour album completed. I met Daniel in the early 90s in NYC right after he started Balihu totally fascinated by those weird and beautiful tracks on Balihu and since then we have been dear friends!

ここ最近でのエレクトロニック・ディスコについては、やはりDaniel Wangの影響は大きいです。ここでRush Hourが監修したDaniel Wangのカルト・レーベルBalihuの2枚組のコンピレーションを忘れてはいけないです。90年代前半にDanielがBalihuを始めた直後にBalihuからの作品が大好きでDanielとNYCで会ってからとても仲良しにしてます!

As a DJ and a music lover, it is hard work to keep up with the amount of all the new good music coming out every week from all over the place. The internet helps a lot. I still buy lots of vinyls because I love them and also I do download a lot of digital wav files. I really enjoyed all those different formats. We can access to so much music so easily now. The sound quality is really important for me though. I really wish wav files will become this decade’s industry standard! I really don’t understand people who are into modern music who listen to bad sound quality mp3s, it doesn’t make any sense, can’t you feel it? The sound is compressed that you are missing certain frequencies, like BASS!  The 00 years were definitely the ipod mp3 years. One of the 00s greatest album, Radiohead “Kid A” sounds so good that you can’t listen to it as a mp3.

DJとミュージック・ラヴァーとしては、毎週世界中からリリースされる大量な面白い新しい音楽を追いかけるのはとても難しいことです。インタネットのおかげでチェック出来ます。アナログ盤はまだいっぱい買いますし、ディジタルのwav filesもいっぱいダウンロードしています。それぞれのフォーマットを使用するのが楽しくて好きです。現在はとても簡単に色々な音楽にアクセス出来るのは実に素晴らしいことです。しかし僕にとってサウンドのクオリティーにはとても拘ります。ここでwavファイルが業界のスタンダードになるといいです! 今の音楽が好きな人たちがなぜクオリティーの低いサウンドのmp3を聴いてるのがよく理解出来ないです。音は圧縮されて、例えば低音の周波数も削られる! 。2000年代はまさにipodのmp3の時代でありながら、しかし2000年代を代表するRadioheadの名作「Kid A」のような完成度と音のクオリティーの高さに対してmp3では聴きたくないでしょう。おかしいです。

The old schoolers Massive Attack’s new EP “Splitting the Atom” and Sade’s new single “Soldiers of love” were GREAT! I am really looking forward to their albums.
オールドスクールを代表するMassive Attackの最新EP「Splitting the atom」とSadeの新曲「Soldiers of love」はとても良かったです! アルバムが楽しみです。

2 producers I really enjoyed last year for their uniqueness I am looking forward to were Dj Koze and Joy Orbison.
去年他に面白かった個性のなるアーティストはDj KozeとJoy Orbinsonでした。

Just before X’mas, I had the pleasure to play for the 1st time at BOOM BOOM ROOM the new exclusive nightspot by Andre Balazs for celebrities, fashionistas and socialites at the very last floor of the Standard Hotel in the meatpacking district. It is such a beautiful place and what an amazing view! This is the perfect place to play early in the night this beautiful disco symphony orchestra Walter Murphy album I love.

X’mas前に、アメリカのホテル業界のドンであるAndre BalazsがプロデュースするNYCのmeatpacking地区に出来たStandard Hotelの最上階に出来たとてもエクスクルーシヴなナイトスポットBOOM BOOM ROOMで初めてDJ。東京にはない大人な高級かつファンキーな雰囲気でとても素敵でカッコいい遊び場です! そして何言っても景色が最高です。早い時間にはWalter Murphyのこのレコードのような大好きな豪華なオーケストラー系のディスコの音がとてもマッチします。

I had so much fun playing with the very good resident DJ Willie Graff all night for NYE at Cielo. We played back to back from 10pm to 7am. Thank you Willie and Cielo for having me!
そして大晦日はレジデントDJのWillie Graffと一緒にCIeloで一晩とても楽しくDJしました。午後10時から午前7時までback to backでプレイ。CIeloとWillieどうもありがとう!

東京からNYCまでノンストップな毎日が続いてます。

From Tokyo to NYC it has been non stop lately.

数年振りにプレイした代官山のClub AirでのCieloのパーティでCieloのNicolas Matarとプレイ。とてもいい感じで新鮮な気持でDJが出来てとても良かったです。
とても良い内容のパーティでした。朝方WataruとNYCの友達Justin Vandervolgenが遊びに。また是非プレイしたいです!

I played with Nicolas Matar from Club Cielo in NYC at Club Air in Daikanyama. I hadn’t played there for a few years. It was very fresh. I really enjoyed playing there. The party was great. I would love to play there again! In the morning friends Wataru and Justin Vandervolgen from NYC stopped by.

Justinが12″とミックスCDを出しているNYCのアンダグランド・パーティNo Ordinary Monkeyの一員であるPhil SouthによるレーベルGolf Channel recordingがとても面白い。全リリースが変わっていて、面白くて大好きです。さすがNYCです。これから出るDominik Von Senger「no name 2009」とDj Milo aka Dj Natureの新作がドープです! 目が離せないです。

I am really into the record label Golf Channel recording from Brooklyn, NYC run by one of the No Ordinary Monkey party member Phil South on which Justin released one 12″ and a mix CD recently. All their releases are very different, original and fun, I really like them. The soon to be released new records from Dominik Von Senger “no name 2009″ and from Dj Milo aka Dj Nature are DOPE! Check them out.

後は、やはり、去年からのアンセムであるNYCのユニットHouse of Houseの「Rushing to Paradise」のDJ Harveyのリミックスがoriginal versionと収録した再発リリースが年末のマストリリースである。鳥肌が立ちます!

I hung out with Milo before he took off for Japan. This Saturday December 19th one of my greatest inspirations while I was going to school in Tokyo in my teenage, the legendary Major Force crew and Milo are playing together for the 1st anniversary of the great Shibuya’s restaurant/bar/club microcosmos. It is going to be for sure a crazy night! I am sending all my warmest vibes and some champagne. Happy 1st anniversary microcosmos! Big up original Tokyo style!!

For the past few months I have been working on a high end audio project called phonon. We spent the whole day with the whole team testing our equipment. I had my most amazing sound experience in my life! I am very excited for its development and introduction to the world.

今年初めて4人のDJが揃った12/6のGalleryは素晴らしいパーティでした! phonon装置のおかげでとにかく言葉で説明出来ない立体的で密度の高いダイレクトな最高級の音に持ってかれました，体験したことのない最高なヴァイヴでした! スタッフ、そして長年サポートしてくれた人達、本当に素晴らしい時間をいつもありがとう! とても感謝してます。この感動があるからこそこれからも続けて行けます。来年から不定期になりますが新しいGalleryをよろしくお願いします。

Our last Gallery party on December 6th was an amazing party! It was the first time the 4 of us DJs played together this year at CAY on our awesome hi end Kplisch system! Thanks to our phonon device, the sound was so much wider all over the space, it hit us, we were blown away by the very precise, direct, wide hi end sound. Amazing vibes we have never felt before! I really want to thank of course all the staff, and all the people who have been supporting us all those years. From next year, we are taking Gallery to another level and we will be having it on a non regular basis.

2 very good african music related new compilations I have been really into. I am really digging all the deep ethnic/traditional roots music amazing re-issues and compilations the specialist UK labels Analog Africa, Soundway and Honest Johns are releasing. In these times of digital and formatted soul less music, I do really enjoy those different organic and authentic roots music. It feels like you are travelling into music.

Every morning when I wake up I like to play an album in the living room. It is one of the best moment of the day. Ash Ra Tempel’s sublime ambient album “Le Berceau de Cristal” sounded so good after waking up from my long tour at home in NYC. The 14mn lead masterpiece “Le Berceau de Crystal” was named after and used for the  legendary french film director Philippe Garrel classic movie of the same name.

毎朝起きる時に家でアルバム一枚を選んでリヴィング・ルームでかけることをしています。一日の中で最も好きな時間です。今回長いツアーからNYCに帰って翌日に起きてプレイしたAsh Ra Tempelの素晴らしいアンビエント・アルバム「Le Berceau de Cristal」がとても気持よかったです。アルバムからの14分の代表作「Le Berceau de Cristal」は何とあのカルトなフランス人映画監督Philippe Garrelの同じタイトルの映画から来ています。

I love flying. I really enjoy the quiet time up in the air. I do check a lot of new music on the plane. A few new albums I have been listening to lately that I recommend.

kza – Dig and Edit (mule musiq)

KZA is one half of the japanese unit FORCE OF NATURE. DIG AND EDIT is KZA’s first solo album, and was produced with Kuniyuki aka Koss. mule musiq and london based select shop oki-ni have collaborated and made a special box set with the album, a mix CD, a 12″ vinyl, a t-shirt and a pin badge. I really all the slow tracks on the album.

今回のkzaによるファースト・ソロ・アルバムはmule musiqでおなじみのKuniyuki aka Kossとプロデュース。そしてmule musiqとロンドンのセレクト・ショップoki-niがコラボして、アルバム、mix CD、12″のアナログ盤”、t-shirtとpin badge等が入ったスペシャル限定ボックス・セットを手掛けた。個人的にはbpm遅めのトラックが一番好きでした。

Meanderthals – Desire Lines

A collaboration between London’s Idjut Boys and Rune Lindbaek of Oslo.  Recorded live, it is a beautiful organic warm and dreamy blend of dub, folk, prog, kraut, psychedelia and 70s west-coast slow grooves. The album features contributions Pete Z on keyboards, Des Morgan (Yam Who?) on drums and percussion, Malcolm Jospeh (Grace Jones) on bass, Per Martinsen (aka Mental Overdrive) on percussion and Raj Gupta (Laj & Quakerman) as sound engineer.

現在Brooklyn, Wiliamsburgh地区で最もindie rockのシーンで熱いと言われているヴェニューである広いロフト・スペースのThe  Market Hotelで最近行われているアンダグランド・ハウス・パーティMister Saturday NightでScott Groovesがプレイ

I had such a great time playing with Alex Barck from Jazzanova at one of the last underground venue in Manhattan for dance music Sullivan Room for Giant Step. We enjoyed so much playing with each other mixing all kinds of old and new funky music. This is how a party should be! It is always so inspiring to play with Alex. The Carl Craig remix of the new DJ Hell feat Brian Ferry track killed it!

Manhattanでも数少ないアンダグランド・ヴェニューであるSullivan RoomでGiant StepのパーティでJazzanovaのAlex Barckとのプレイがとても楽しかったです。一緒に一晩通して様々なファンキーな古い音から最新のキラー・チュンまで幅広くプレイ出来てとても面白かったです。パーティはこうあるべきです! 毎回Alexとプレイ出来てとても刺激を受けます。これからリリース予定のDJ Hell featuring Brian Ferryの最新の曲のCarl Craigのリミックスがクラブを爆発して凄かったです!

Danny Krivit and Beni Soto’s 718 Sessions party at Santos Party House with DJ Nori was  truly special and fantastic! The minute I walked into the room I was totally blown away by the amazing sound, thanks to the legendary Alan Thompson at Metro Sound who set up everything adding extra sound etc.  This is what a real music club should be! It is about the experience. It felt so good. 718 Sessions is one of the very few remaining great soulful music dance party in NYC. Nori and Danny played together rotating regularly the whole night completely in synch. The energy was awesome. The best (old school) vibe you can only experience in NYC. Lots of friends and NYC music personalities stopped by. NYC is definitely funky! AK also did a great live show performing a new song and her classic “Say you love me”. All the AK japanese girls fans were singing and screaming! The party finished late with the 2 disco masters Danny and Nori spinning back to back beautiful classics to an ecstatic crowd. The party was a great success! Thanks so much everyone who came to support.

NYCでしかこういう(オールド・スクール)ヴァイヴが体験出来ます。多くの友達とNYCの音楽業界人が駆けつけた。NYCはやっぱりファンキです! AKも特別に新曲とヒット曲「Say you love me」を披露して大盛り上がり! 多く駆けつけた日本人のAKファンもフロアーから大歓声が! 最後はDannyとNoriさんが気持ち良くラヴリーなクラシックスを選曲して、back to backでプレイしながら、パーティはいつもより遅く多くのダンサーを喜ばせて大きなスマイルでめでたく幕を閉じた! パーティは大成功でした。協力してくれた皆さん、遊びに来てくれた皆さん本当にありがとうございました。

It was good to catch up with Quinn aka Bing Ji Ling on the eve of his European tour with the very good NYC band The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band. They have a killer show! Do not miss them.  Quinn is a very talented and active music with always a lot different projects going on. He released a very good solo album “So Natural” (Rush Production) out in Japan.

When I came home, I was glad to find this very good book about Maison Martin Margiela, from one of my favorite designer. The book is a work of art in itself, designed exclusively by Martin Margiela, one of the reigning luminaries of the current fashion scene. It is also the first book to document the work, from fashion and art to design and performance, of the Paris-based Belgian couturiere,

東京から帰って来て、大好きなデザイナーであるMaison Martin Margiellaについての本が届いていて嬉しかったです。もちろんファッションからアート、デザインとパフォーマンスまで幅広く監修された、ここ20年間の世界のファッション・シーンを 革新し続けている実力のトップ・デザイナーMartin Margiella本人による初のアート・ブックです。

In the middle of those parties, I managed to go check the very good art exhibition STAGES at the Deitch Projects in SOHO organised by Nike in partnership with the world’s top professional cyclist Lance Armstrong’s foundation project LIVESTRONG, aiming at raising funds and awareness for the fight against cancer, one of the number one cause of death in the world. An impressive line-up of more than 20 artists (Jose Parla, Dzine, Aaron Young, Yoshitomo Nara, Ed Ruscha, Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf, Futura, Geoff McFetridge, Tom Sachs etc) have been enlisted to STAGES and most have created original art work for the cause.

忙しいパーティ・スケジュールの中、SOHOのDeitch Projectsで行われていた世界のトップ自転車プロロードレース選手Lance Armstrongがガン撲滅研究として進めている財団プロジェクトLIVESTRONGとNikeがガン予防運動として(がんは世界一の死亡率が高い病気です)組んで、20人以上の世界のトップ・アーティスと(Jose Parla, Dzine, Aaron Young, Yoshitomo Nara, Ed Ruscha, Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf, Futura, Geoff McFetridge, Tom Sachs 等)を集めた、意味のある素晴らしいアート・エキジビション「STAGES」に。

There is a whole “aperitivo” trend in NYC among italian restaurants. Gian Franco and Maiko of our favourite Lower East Side restaurant Mangiami was the first restaurant to start this craze, organising every Monday “L’Aperitivo” parties from 7 to 11pm with friend DJs. There is free aperitive food from 7 to 9pm. People have been showing up after work. It has been really succesful. I had the pleasure to play there on Monday with my friend Jason Kincade playing all sorts of (fun) records you can’t really play in clubs. Mangiami has started as well some crazy basement parties. The last one on Saturday night was rocking until 7am!

最近NYCのイタリアン・レストラン等で”Aperitivo”が流行って来ている。Aperitivoは日本語では食前酒という意味を持つ、19:00〜22:00辺り、仕事帰りや、夜遊びに出かける前、ラウンジ/バーに立ち寄り、お酒やフィンガーフードにて気分を盛り上げるライフスタイルである。Lower East Sideのお気に入りのイタリアン・レストランMangiamiのGian Francoとマイコがいち早くこのトレンドを初めて、毎週の月曜の午後7時から11時までDJを招いてL’Aperitivoパーティを開催している。とても面白いです。月曜日に友達のJason Kincadeと一緒に美味しいワインを飲みながら楽しく普段クラブではなかなかかけれない面白いレコードをプレイ。Mangiamiでは最近Mangiamiの地下にあるスペースでもクレージなパーティもやっています。

I am just back in Tokyo for 10 days. I am playing tonite at club AIR in Daikanyama for a the release party of the new club Cielo in NYC compilation CD.

I am back in NYC after 2 weeks and a half touring all over Japan. I am listening right now to DJ Nori’s mix on one of my favorite radio show beatsinspace on WNYU 89.1FM in NYC by Tim Sweeney which is celebrating its 10 year anniversary! 2 weeks ago I had the chance to hear Nori in Tokyo at Club Loop for an unbelievable 30 hours DJ set to celebrate his 30 years of DJing! Congratulations Nori-san! We are waiting for you in NYC. Dj Nori will be playing this Sunday November 15th at Danny Krivit’s party 718 Sessions at Santos Party House in NYC with Danny featuring a special live set by AK.

2週間半に渡る全国Timewarpツアーから久々にNYCに。今年10年目を迎える89.1FM WNYUでTim Sweeneyがプロデュースするお気に入りのラジオ番組「beatsinspace」で今週の日曜日にSantos Party Houseで行われるDanny Krivitのレギラー・パーティ「718 Sessions」でスペシャル・ゲストとしてプレイする我らのDJ NoriのDJミックスを聴いてます。30年間のDJ生活を記念して2週間前にLOOPでの信じられない30時間セットからNoriさんがセレクトした1時間がラジオで流れている。実に素晴らしいことです。90年代の頭にNoriさんがまだNYCに住んでいる頃にNoriさんと渋谷のレコード屋さんDJ’S CHOICEで出会ったことを思い出します。そして僕は現在NYCをベースにしている。何だか人生は面白いです。Noriさん、30周年おめでとうございます! 今週末NYCで待ってます。とても楽しみにしてます。718 sessionsでは特別にAKもNYCでの初ライヴを披露します。

The first stop of our Timewarp tour with Taro (tr) was the great artistic beautiful town of Kanazawa for the 2nd anniversary of the fine select shop “Chairpoint” at club Manier. This was our 2nd time in Kanazawa, lots of people came to party, club Manier was the  perfect location, the sound was awesome, Taro and I rocked it until the morning! It made us really happy that it went more than well. Kanazawa has definitely become a true underground dance music city!

今回Taro(tr)とのTimewarpツアーでの初ギグはとても素敵でアティスティックで大好きな町、金沢。今回はクラブManierで2周年を迎えるセレクト・ショップChairpointのアニヴァーサリー・パーティ。今回は2回目で約一年半振りの金沢。とても楽しみにしてました。前回よりもさらに多くの人達が掛け付けて, クラブManierのスペースがとても良くて、音とセッティングも良くて、とてもハマって、Trと朝までフロアーをロック! 期待を裏切らない盛り上がりと内容でした。ここ2年で金沢はアンダグランド・ダンス・ミュージックの重要な町になって来た気がします! とても嬉しいいことです。Chairpoint2周年おめでとうございます! 北中さん、ナカタ君、そしてManierの皆さんありがとうございました。

Before the party we had a special private tea and sweets ceremony called”Concept G” at the famous “Le Musee de H” pastry shop/restaurant inside the Ishikawa prefecture Art Museum by reknown japanese pastry chef Tsujiguji Hironobu. A highly-recommended experience for all of you visiting Kanazawa!  And of course make sure you go to the 21st Century Museum. We were able to check the fantastic exhibition of the japanese artist Yokoo Tadanori!

パーティ前に、石川県立美術館内にある有名パティシエ辻口ヒロノブがプロデュースする空間「Le Musee de H」でお茶とスウィーツの特別コース「Concept G」を楽しむ。金沢を訪れる皆さんに本当にお進めします! そして21世紀美術館にも必ず足を運んで見て下さい。今回横尾忠則の最新エキジビションが観れて嬉しかったです!

Our second stop was the city of Kagoshima deep south of the Southern Island of Kyushu known also for its volcano in activity Sakurajima overlooking the city in the bay. The Kagoshima DJ unit based in Tokyo TB Brothers organised this special party at Jade in the middle of the biggest festival in town “Ohara Matsuri” on the eve of a bank holiday with the help of local friends Mr.Shimizu from the Judd magazine and Ash Satsuma Design & Craft Fair and Mr.Kooriyama from the excellent select shop FARM YARD. We ended playing until 7:30am in the morning, a premiere in Kagoshima! What a crazy night, I still can’t believe it. The Sakurajima volcano was in eruption when we left the club in the morning.

ツアー第二の目的地は鹿児島。今回のパーティは東京をベースに活動するファンキーな鹿児島出身の2人組のDJユニットTB BROTHERSと共に地元のフリー・ペーパJUDDとASH Satsuma Design & Craft Fairをプロデュースるグラフィック・デザイナー の清水さんと16年もとてもスタイリッシュなセレクト・ショップFARM YARD/AS LABORATORIESを手掛ける郡山さんによって地元の音楽好きと遊び人が集まるクラブ/バーJADEで「おはら祭り」の最中に休日の前日に行われた。12時過ぎからお客さんも集まって、気が付いたら午前7時半までみんなでプレイ! 本当に信じられなかったです。とてもクレージに盛り上がったパーティでした! 朝クラブを出る時に桜島は噴火してました!

The japanese artist Konoike Tomoke provided us especially for the party one of her animation. The day after the party we went to check her new exhibition “Inter-Traveller Twelve wolf poets” which was mind blowing at the Kirishima Art No Mori Museum.

今回のパーティのためにアニメーションとして特別参加してくれてアーティストの鴻池朋子さん。パーティ後、3時間寝てからみんなで頑張って起きて、霧島のアートの森美術館まで鴻池朋子さんの最新エキジビション「インタートラベラー 12匹の詩人」を観に。凄い世界観で衝撃的でやられました!

The second part of the exhibition was in the woods at the famous onsen (hot spring) Hachiman Dai Jigoku which means The Hachiman Big Hell!

Kagoshima is known for its delicious food (chicken, black pork, potato, ramen, seafood) and sho-chu (japanese liquor) . Our favorite sho-chu was the potato sho-chu from the Yakushima island called Mitake.

ご存知の通り、鹿児島は美味しい食べ物(鳥刺し、さつま揚げ、黒豚、お魚、ラーメン)と焼酎でも有名です。今回は屋久島産の焼酎「三岳」にノックアウトされました!

Back for a day in Tokyo to play at Grassroots for their 12th anniversary until 8am, with hardly any sleep Taro and I jumped on the plane for our last adventure in Okayama. We are playing tonite at this small bar/club called night cafe neco. The club was on fire already at midnight. The crowd is young and dances to everything. And what a crazy party! We spent the whole Sunday hungover enjoying the warm weather visiting Okayama and its beautiful garden Korakuen, one of the top 3 garden in Japan. Thank you Mr.Nakamura, Shinsuke and all our dear friends from Okayama who came down! It was a very fresh experience for us to play with you.

一日東京に帰って来て、12週年のアニヴァーサリーを迎えた東高円寺のGrassrootsで朝8時までDJをして、ほぼ寝ないで、Taroと飛行機に飛び込んで今回の最後の目的地岡山に。今晩のパーティは岡山のバー/クラブ「night cafe neco」。5年振りの岡山です。12時過ぎにはクラブは既に大盛り上がり! お客さんは比較的に若い。とてもパワーがあって、ジャズ、ハウス、テクノ、ディスコ等に思い切って踊って楽しんでます。最終的にとにかく波があったとても盛り上がったクレージなパーティになりました! 中村君、シンスケ君、そして遊びに来てくれた岡山の友達の皆さん本当にありがとうございました! 一緒にパーティが出来てとても新鮮で良かったです。翌日は暖かい気候と最高の天気に恵まれて岡山の町を楽しんで後楽園でゆっくりチルアウト。

Thank you everyone for your support, great vibes and energy! It was a really great successfull and inspiring tour for us. Taro and I felt we have a new family of a new generation of open minded music lovers which is very exciting for the next coming years. The cities outside Tokyo are pure compared to Tokyo which lately is losing its energy lost in information. Keep rocking Japan!

皆さん、熱いサポート、いいヴァイブスとエネルギーをありがとうございます! 大成功に終わったとてもインスパイヤーされたツアーでした。新しい世代の新しいファミリーと出会えることが出来て、これからがとても楽しみです。地方はやはり全体的にピュアーで、東京はここ最近活気がない感じで情報に負けている気がします。これからも盛り上げて頑張って行きましょう!

My very good friends Michel and Shiwei got married in Shanghai and Nantong on October 10th and 11th. What an amazing wedding week end it was especially with lots of friends from Tokyo! The highlight was definitely the traditional “crazy kitsch disney show” chinese wedding on Sunday in Nantong where Shiwei is from! I wish both of you forever peace, love and happiness!!

友達のMichelとShiweiの結婚式のために5日間上海と南通に。東京から多くの友人がわざわざ駆けつけてとても素晴らしい結婚式な週末でした! 特に10/11の日曜日にShiweiの出身地である南通のホテルで行われた”ディズニーのショーを思わせる”クレージな伝統的な中国式の結婚披露宴が凄かったです! 本当におめでとう!!

I then went back on tour in Asia for a series of 4 gigs in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok in 6 days! The beach party in Singapore last Sunday at The Shack at Sentosa beach was one of the highlight. Singapore definitely feels like family now with such a great little music family and scene. Thanks so much Vinnie and Has! All the gigs went really went thanks to great good spirit open minded people, which made me happy and which brings hope too in the region. It was good to see Gilles Peterson in Singapore too. He is Tokyo now for his J-Wave Worldwide Showcase 2009 event and the release of his new afrocuban compilation.

その後、アジア・ツアーに旅立って、6日間で香港、シンガポールとバンコックで4つのパーティでプレイ! 先週の日曜日にシンガポールのSentosaビーチのThe Shackで行われたパーティが最高でした。シンガポールにはとてもいい小さい音楽シーンとファミリーがいます。今回お世話になったVinnieとHasどうもありがとう!オープン・マインドで音楽好きなパーティ・ピープルのおかげで全パーティとも内容が良くて、いつもながらプレイして反応が良かったです。とても楽しかったです! 希望を感じました。今回DJで来ていたGilles Petersonとも再開して楽しかったです。現在GillesはJ-Waveの「Worldwide Showcase 2009」のイベントと新しいアフロキューバンのコンピのリリースのために来日してます。

After almost a month and a half touring, it feels good now to be back in Tokyo for 2 weeks. It has been non stop but very inspiring with some great reactions from people. Tomorrow night Friday October 23rd I am back at my Timewarp residency at club Unit in Daikanyama. It is going to be a big one!

約一ヶ月半ツアーで回って、最後の目的地として2週間東京に帰国。今回は本当に充実したツアーでとても刺激的でした! 明日の夜10/23(金)6ヶ月振りにレジデント・パーティTimewarpを今度は場所をUnitに移して開催します! とても楽しみです。皆さん、待ってます!

Sarah has been styling Gaspard Yurkievich’s show in Paris for 6 seasons now. His latest Collection Femme 2010 was one of my favourite so far with one line reminding me of Sarah. Dani Siciliano was doing the music playing the guitar and singing. It was beautiful!

His new EP on his own label MDR and his remix of “Seven” by Fever Ray are killers. This is the new sound of the future! Berlin is fresh.

Last stop in my European tour, the very beautiful balearic island of Mayorca. I spent 3 amazing days with Mayorca’s legendary DJ and nightlife impressario Nacho and his family on his magical island, It was still summer but without the tourists. The island reminded me of Sicily. I played at Nacho’s club Garito Cafe in Palma De Mayorca which has been running for 11 years now.  And the food was so good!

今回のヨーロッパ・ツアーの最後の目的地は、西地中海に浮かぶスペインのバレアレス諸島で一番大きな島であるとても奇麗なマヨルカ島。マヨルカの伝説DJ&ナイトライフ人物Nachoと3日間マヨルカ島を楽しむ。観光客がいない夏のような気候。シチリア島を思い出させるマジックな島です。Nachoが11年も運営する首都Palma de MayorcaのGarito CafeでDJ。そして何と言っても地元の家庭料理が美味しかったです!

After a few days off in Berlin, we headed to Bologna in Italy. Our first ever live show in Europe was at the robot festival 2 in Bologna on Saturday September 19th. Bologna is a very beautiful old medieval city. The festival took place in the early part of the evening at the amazing Palazzo Re Enzo on the main square of the old city  and in the late part after midnight at the legendary venue LINK outside the city. Bologna is one of the biggest student city in Italy. It is known to be very open minded and funky too. It is also the food capital of Italy.

Berlinで数日間のオフを終えて、9月19日の土曜日、イタリア、Bolognaでの電子音楽&カルチャー・フェスのrobot festival 2でのヨーロッパの初ライヴのためBologna入りを。Bolognaはとても美しい古い中世の街です。今回のフェスのメインの会場は午後8時から12時までは街の中心部の中央広場にあるお城Palazza Re Enzo、そして午前12時からは街の外れにある伝説の巨大ウェーハウス会場LINK. Bolognaはイタリアでももっとも学生人口が多い街として知られていてイタリアの中でもっともオープンマインドでもある。そしてもちろんイタリアの食の首都でも有名です。

We played at 2:30am peak time at LINK after the swiss DJ/producer Mirko Loco. The venue was packed and the vibe was great! It was a total rave with 2000 kids partying down. We did our thing and we played for almost an hour a special new set we prepared for Europe. People reacted well. It was challenging but we did it. It felt so good! We were so happy. The festival organisers, friends and the crowd all came to congratulate us. The festival was well organised. The vibe was very friendly and the people very warm! Thank you everyone at robot and at slam jam for all the support.

土曜日の午前2:30のピーク・タイムにスイスのDJ/プロデューサMirko Locoの後にLINKのメイン・ステージにライヴをプレイ。会場は満員で、雰囲気はとてもいい。2000人のイタリアの若者が集まって楽しくパーティをして踊っている。今回のために仕込んだ約1時間のヨーロッパ・セットをうまく自然に気持よく熊野さんとプレイ。お客さんも正直に反応してくれた。大きい挑戦ではあったが、うまくやり遂げたことが自身になってとても嬉しかったです。ライヴ終了後、オーガナイザー、来てくれた友達、そしてお客さんから励ましの言葉を。今回のフェスはとても良くオーガナイズされていて、雰囲気も良く、みんなとても暖かい人達でとても良かったです。robotとslam jamのみんなサポートどうもありがとう!

Tokyo Black Star live @robot 2 Festival, Bologna 09/19/2009

After spending a beautiful sunday in the old city of Bologna, we flew to Frankfurt to meet up with Kristian from AME to chill out at Kristian’s in Karlsruhe for 3 days in the South of Germany. Kristian took us around Karlsruhe and the beautiful surrounding towns of Ladenburg (where Karl Benz invented the car), Heidelberg with its beautiful castle and Frankfurt.

日曜日Bolognaの街をのんびりと楽しんだ後、AMEのKristianとFrankfurt空港で合流。Frankfurtから車で1時間半南にあるKristianが住んでいる街Karlsruheへ。Kristianの地元Ladenburg(車を発明したKarl Benzの街です)、とてもお城が奇麗であるHeidelbergそしてFrankfurtを一緒に観光。

After 3 great days in Karlsruhe sightseeing, eating and drinking, we came back to Berlin, our home base. We headed straight to Berghain on Wednesday night to see the Moritz Von Oswald Trio show which was really good.

Karlsruheで3日間食べて、飲んで、観光した後、ホームベースのBerlinに戻る。そのまま水曜日の夜BerghainでMoritz Von Oswalt Trioのライヴを観に。凄かったです!アートの世界でした。まさにBerlinです!

The very recommended exhibition “Bilder Traume” at the Nationalgalerie based around the themes of “Dreams and Fantasies”. An amazing collection of surrealism and abstract expressionism. The first room dedicated to Max Ernst was amazing. My great favourite was a painting from the spanish painter Esteban Frances.

「夢とファンタジー」をテーマにしたオススメのエキジビション「Blider Traume」をNationalgalerieへ観に。ベルリンのアートコレクターによるSurrealismとAbstract expressionismアートの素晴らしいプライヴェート・コレクションからです。特にMax Ernstの作品が飾られた最初の部屋が実に良かったです。今回初めて知ったスペインのアーティストEsteban Francesの一枚のペインティングにやられました。

Art happenings were going on all around the city too during Berlin Art Fair. The City was definitely vibrating and we were vibrating with the city too! We felt so good at ease thanks to all of friends. In Berlin, life is still cheap, alternative/underground culture is part of the city, you can feel the creativity and the diversity everywhere, the vibe is laidback, music is everywhere, nightlife is booming, it is such a free city for artists compared to Tokyo, London or New York. Experiencing Berlin really make you think. It is one of today’s final frontier. It was such an honour for us to perform at probably one of the world’s best underground club Panorama Bar which is part of Berghain on Friday September 25th. After a great old school house by the Panorama Bar resident Prosumer we took the stage at 4am in the morning for an hour of deepness. The crowd reacted well. We did a powerful set. It went well. We were in heaven! It felt so good. Marcus played a very nice trippy set after us. I am sorry there are no pictures from the night since it is strictly prohibited by Berghain. You can’t explain by words what is going on at Berghain, you have to experience it!

Berlin Art FairでBerlinの街中がアート一色で盛り上がっていました。僕等もBerlinのヴァイブレーションに載せられていました! Berlinの友人のおかげでBerlinがとても心地よく感じられました。物価も安いし、アルタナティヴ&アンダグランド・カルチャーが寝ずいていて、クリエーティビティーが溢れていて、落ち着いた雰囲気が感じられて、音楽とナイトライフが特に盛り上がっていて、Berlinは東京、ロンドン、NYCの大都市と違ってアーティストにとってはとても自由な街である! Berlinは考えさせられてくれます。そのBerlinで初めて9月25日の金曜日に世界一と言われているアンダグランド・クラブBerghainの一角にあるPanorama Barでライヴが出来ることは非常に特別なことである。Panorama BarのレジデントDJを勤めるProsumerによるオールド・スクール・ハウス・セットに続いて午前4時にスタート。とてもパワフルなライヴをプレイ出来ました。お客さんの反応もいい。本当にディープでした! うまくやり遂げました。天国にいる感じがしました! 本当に気持良かったです。Marcus Worgullもとてもいいトリッピーなセットをプレイ。初めてハウスのクラブに行った時のヴァイヴを感じました。言葉では説明出来ないです。実際にBerghainを体験しないと分からないです。残念ながらBerghainでの撮影禁止のルールのため写真や画像はないです。

Our first 2 live shows in Europe were really hi-profile gigs and challenging, we did our best and  they went well, they were such great experiences for us for our next shows, and we were really happy that we got to make an impact and communicate with people through our music. Thank you everyone in Bologna and Berlin! We will be back.

今回のヨーロッパでの初の2つのライヴはとてもレベルの高いギグであって挑戦的ではあったが、熊野さんと一緒にベストを果たして、最終的にうまく出来て、今後に繋がるとてもいい経験になって、ライブで自分等の音楽でみんなとコミュニケーションが取れて、インパクトを与えたことに対して実に嬉しく思っています。BolognaとBerlinどうもありがとう! また戻って来ます。

After a few hours of sleep and 3 hours waiting at the airport, I arrived to Freiburg just in time for Rainer Truby’s legendary monthly club night “Root Down”. And what a great funky and fun night we had with Rainer and everyone! We have to do this again Rainer. Arigatoni!

数時間寝て、空港で3時間も待たされて、フランスの国境の直ぐ近くの南西ドイツの街Freiburgで行われているRainer Trubyの伝説のマンスリー・パーティ「Root Down」にギリギリ間に合ってDJスタート。年齢層が高く、ハッピーなヴァイヴの中、Rainerととてもファンキーで楽しいパーティが出来ました! Rainer、またやろう!

Back from Japan, I went  straight into NYC Fashion Week madness.  I had the pleasure to work with my great friend David Bruno on the music for the very cool and elegant new men’s wear line SPURR from NYC which is getting lots of attention right now. The inspiration of their Spring/Summer 2010 collection was “french sexy elegant 70s Yves Saint Laurent”. I really enjoyed putting together a great selection of old and new music around that theme for their 2 hours presentation in this beautiful loft space. Lots of brands recently have been doing presentations where you can really  look and appreciate the clothes worn by models instead of costly and quick fashion shows.

日本から帰って来て、早速NYC Fashion Weekに取りかかる。最近話題になっているNYCのメンズのブランドSPURRのプレゼンテーションの音楽のセレクションのため友達のDavid Brunoと仕事を。今回の2010年の春/夏コレクションのインスピレーションは「フレンチ・セクシー・エレガント・70年代のYves Saint Laurent」です。とてもカッコいいロフト・スペースで約2時間のプレゼンテーションでこのテーマに合わせてDJを。最近としては、コストが高い一瞬で終わるショーよりはじっくりモデルが洋服を着てコレクションをみんなに見せることの傾向が業界では広がっている。

One of the presentation music’s main inspiration was this music the french composer/arranger Jean-Claude Vannier song/album called “L’enfant La Mouche Et Les Allumettes” Yves Saint Laurent used in his Autumn/Winter show in 1971.

今回音楽のインスピレーションとなったのは1フランスの作曲家Jean-Claude Vannierが1971年のYves Saint Laurentの秋/冬コレクションのショーに使用されたアルバムと曲「L’enfant La Mouche Et Les Allumettes」

It was a great pleasure to work again with the whole Y3 crew from NYC, Germany and Tokyo for their “World Cup” theme Y3 Spring 2010 show at the amazing Park Armory space on Park Avenue uptown. And to finish the show with Zidane and Yohji Yamamoto together on the runaway playing with a football ball was definitely a crazy moment!

今回もNYC,ドイツと日本のY3のチームのみんなとY3の2010年春/夏のコレクションーのショーで音楽の手伝いの仕事が出来てとても楽しかったです! 今回のテーマは来年に向かえるWorld Cupで、NYCのUptownのPark Avenueで行われたショーの会場がとにかくカッコ良かったです。ショーの最後にZidaneとYohji Yamamotoさんが一緒に出来てサッカー・ボールと遊ぶシーンがとにかく凄かったです!

Then it was time to board for Berlin to kick off our European Tokyo Black Star/DJ tour for 3 weeks with Isao for his first time in Europe and in Berlin! It was really good  to be back in Berlin with the whole Innervisions family and friends, hanging out, sightseeing, rehearsing before our first live show in Bologna. The vibe in (East) Berlin is laidback and creative. Berlin makes you feel at ease, at home immediately. And it makes you want to make music. A truly unique powerful city in this capitalist world we are living in with a strong alternative culture and history.

そして、そのまま3週間に渡るヨーロッパでのTokyo Black StarのライヴとDJツアーのため飛行機に乗り込んでBerlinに入る。今回は初のヨーロッパと初のBerlinの熊野さんと合流。初となるイタリア、Bolognaでのライヴを前に、BerlinではInnervisionsのみんな、そして友達と、会って、観光して、リハ等してとても充実した日々を。(東)Berlinはパワフルでありながら、とてもゆっくりしていて、今資本主義の世界から離れたアルタナティヴなカルチャーと歴史を持つ実にクリエーティヴで世界のどの都市よりも特別な街です。直ぐに居心地良くしてるます。そして音楽を作りたくなります! 素晴らしいです。強いにモノを感じます。

Back in NYC after 2 busy and productive weeks in Japan touring/working in the studio etc. Straight to the Ete d’Amour party at the Rivington Penthouse on the top of the Rivington Hotel in the Lower East Side.

2週間に渡る日本でのDJツアーとスタジオ・ワークス等の忙しい充実した滞在を終えてNYCに。そのまま日曜日はLower East SideのRivington Hotelの最上階のPenthouseで毎週の日曜日に行われているRespectのEte d’AmourパーティでDJ。

Every Monday Grassroots the legendary little music bar/club in the popular Higashi Koenji area in West Tokyo is packed and is rocking until 7/8am in the morning! Dj Hikaru from the japanese music unit “Blast Head” has been the resident for a decade. I had such a great time playing with Hikaru and Taro Akiyama from sleeping bugz. They are serious DJs! Check “Blast Head” new album “Nu Island” (Free Hand)!

毎週の月曜日レジデントにBlast HeadのDJ Hikaruを向かえて東高円寺のGrassrootsで行われている超ドープなパーティ「月光」はとにかく朝まで盛り上がっていて熱いです! Hikaru君とSleeping BugzのTaro君と本当に今回も素晴らしいセッションが出来ました。最高でした! Free HandからリリースされているBlast Headの最新アルバム「Nu Island」もチェックしてみて下さい!

I really enjoyed the japanese version of the play “The Diver” by the super talented japanese playwriter/artist Noda Hideki. The english version was a big hit in London last year. Highly recommended!

野田秀樹さんのお芝居「ザ・ダイヴァー」を観に行きました。とても良かったです! 前回の「パイパー」に続いて、今回も本当に刺激的でした。大竹しのぶさん、野田秀樹さんそしてその他の役者さんの演技にはやられました。とにかくオススメします!

I was 2 weeks on summer holidays in Northern California from Big Sur, San Francisco, Napa Valley and to the Bay area. It was amazing!

２週間夏休みにBig Sur, San Francisco, Napa ValleyそしてBay Areaを中心に北カリフォルニアに行って来ました。 とても楽しかったです!

After a relaxing holidays, straight back into Japan summer madness, recovering from a crazy party week end with friends from Fukuoka, Osaka and Enoshima. Osaka on Saturday night at the club sound channel was magic! The party was pumping. Our Tokyo Black Star went well, I ended playing until 10am, the vibe was truly deep, funky and special. The new sound channel club is amazing. It is like a small club Yellow, a real dance music club you can’t really find anymore. With no voice and hardly any sleep I finished my week end at Oppalla a bar/club along the Enoshima beach next to Tokyo playing a sunrise DJ set with my Gallery friends. Thank you every one for such a great week end! And the summer goes on…

リラックスした休みを終えて、いきなり日本のサマー・マッドネスにタイムワープ、そして3日間に渡る福岡、大阪と江ノ島でのノン・ストップなハードコアーパーティ週末を無事にサヴァイヴ。土曜日大阪sound channelでのパーティがマジックでとても盛り上がりました! Tokyo Black Starのライヴも順調に行って、ディープでファンキーなスペシャルなヴァイブな中、午前10時までプレイ。とても刺激的で強いモノを感じました。去年からアメリカ村に移転したクラブsound channelは最近ないリアルなダンス・ミュージック・クラブで小さいYellowみたいでとてもいい箱です。声をガラガラにして、ほとんど寝ていない状態で、日曜日の夜中に江ノ島にあるOppallaに辿り着いてGalleryのみんなと合流して、朝方sunriseセットをプレイ。皆さん素晴らしい週末どうもありがとうございます! これからも日本の夏は続きます…
